The students of Oakland Community College’s (OCC) Highland Lakes Campus had a “Swing Like a Fool” event in Waterford at the OCC Highland Lakes Campus Student Center Arena.
OCC’s Highland Lakes Student LIFE, in partnership with The Dance Project, OCC Band Director Dennis Thomas, Phi Theta Kappa and the OCC Nursing Student Association presented “A Live Concert and Dance Performance.” All donations supported the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund, a local, non-profit organization dedicated to assisting some of the most vulnerable veterans in Michigan by ensuring 97 cents of every dollar directly assists those in need.
